Brenda Eakes, CVT

Brenda grew up in Thompson, MB, Canada. She moved to Pueblo in July of 1992. In 2000, while traveling in Alaska, she visited the Iditarod headquarter, which she fell in love with. She went back to volunteer for the Iditarod dog sled race for the next 5 years.  She helped the veterinarians and the mushers care for their dogs, as they were dropped from the team or in the dog lots after the race. This fueled her passion further to become a veterinary technician. In 2005, she went to Bel-Rea to fulfill this dream. She worked at Pueblo Animal Services before coming to Mesa Vet Clinic. All of their pets have been rescued. She enjoys being a support to our clients by helping them care for their pets.
