As a new client of Mesa Veterinary Clinic, you can expect our full attention to you and your animal’s needs. Our service will be provided with courtesy and respect.
When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, checked in, and we will usher you into an examination room as soon as we have one available. You may browse our retail area while you wait. Our goal is to see all of our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there may be time where the unexpected will create delays. Emergencies and appointments are given first priority. Walk-ins and drop off will be seen as soon as possible.
You will normally see a veterinary technician first, who will take the history, and gather some data for the doctor. A veterinarian will see you next, examine your pet, answer your questions and plan further diagnostics or treatments as necessary. Normally the veterinary technician will return an d wrap things up, and she will provide you with further education information and answer routine wellness and care questions for you. She will also go over instructions if your pet is prescribed medication. Our receptionist will handle payments and schedule any needed follow up appointments.
Mesa Veterinary Clinic also offers after-hour emergency services with an on-call veterinarian. In the event of an emergency, call the office number 719-542-6075, leave a message with the nature of your emergency and your phone number stated clearly twice. If you have not been contacted by a veterinarian within 10 minutes, please call again, as the veterinarian may be in the middle of another emergency. They will call you back as soon as possible.
