Joseph B. Barker, DVM is an owner and a
1994 graduate of Colorado State University.
He has been with the Clinic for 15 years and
treats all species, which makes him a
well-rounded and much respected
veterinarian. His devotion to the Clinic,
clients and his family is admirable. He has
shared his love of veterinary medicine with
the youth of our community through the 4-H
veterinary science program.

Matthew R. Braunschmidt, DVM is a 2003
graduate of Iowa State University. He has
practiced at Mesa Vet Clinic for 6 years and
has veterinary expertise of all species but is
our go-to guy for swine. Clients love his quiet
demeanor and gentle approach. We value

acupuncture, as a complimentary medical

Fernando L. Notario, DVM is a 2006
graduate from National University of
Asuncion, Paraguay. He has been in the
United States since November 2007 and is
in the process of being licensed in the
United States. He is working under the
supervision of our Doctors. He is the only
spanish- speaking member of our team and
bridges the communication gap.
